Quick landscaping update

Since I have had the keys, I have been very busy handling with tradies  coming into the house to install appliances and change all the lights, busy doing all the landscaping work.

I finally got my keys from Wisdom Homes office. Woohoo !!

 Few days after getting my keys, I started working on the facade of my portico.

Finally the driveway has been laid !!

House inspection

Today I  had my first house inspection. Everything went very well, the inspection took around 1h30 for the whole house (inside and outside) Few minor defects to fix, such as few touch up paint, clean few bricks and the roof tiles, the caesarstone bench slab had few scratches.
According to my SS, I should have the keys on the 8th of October.......YAY !!!!
I am very happy with my SS, he has been great since his first call. Before the house inspection, he came very early and did his own inspection and marked all the defects that he could see, just in case that I miss some while I do my inspection. It was the first time that we talk face to face also.

Quite a few things happened this week.

The sinks had been installed, the house had been painted, garage door is up, kitchen island caesarstone bench installed

I was worried that 40 mm caesarstone would be too small, but it turned out to be perfect size

• Shower screens, bathtub scheduled for today 
• Light fittings scheduled tomorrow
• Driveway scheduled for the end of the week

The tiling has started this week for all the wet areas.

 The tiler did a mistake for the bathroom. I asked and paid for vanity height tiling. but he is doing all the way to the ceiling : )
I am not complaining. Freebies woohoo !

Portico

I am pretty happy with the colors so far, now hopefully the main floor tiles will be as I expected to be

My SS called me to let me know the schedule for the next few weeks and he said the house will be done in 6 weeks !!! Woohoo in 6 weeks I will have my keys !!!


What is next.

Tiling for the whole house will be done by next week
Painting and vanities scheduled for next week
Lights fitting scheduled in 2 weeks
Driveway is scheduled to be done in 3 weeks
PCI in around 5 weeks....
In 6 weeks..............HANDOVER!!
